As our Clean Up & Catch Up Expert, you’re the lead problem solver on client files that need urgent attention. You won't just be doing daily data entry; you’ll be doing detective work.

When a client comes to OBG Outsourcing months (or years) behind on their bookkeeping, you will step in to transform their books into pristine, tax-ready financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

Untangling Historical Data: Reviewing past entries in QuickBooks Online and Desktop to spot duplicates, misclassified expenses, and unrecorded transactions.

Catching Up on Backlogs: Processing backlogged transactions efficiently without compromising accuracy.

Reconciling Accounts: Balancing bank accounts, credit card accounts, loans, and merchant gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

Resolving Discrepancies: Fixing complex issues like uncleared "Undeposited Funds," messy Accounts Receivable/Payable aging reports, and journal entry errors.

Delivering Fresh Starts: Generating accurate Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets, giving clients total clarity on their business health.

Proven Experience: At least 3+ years in bookkeeping/accounting, with direct experience fixing historical errors and handling backlogged books.

QuickBooks Mastery: Deep operational knowledge of both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. (Having a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor badge is a major plus!).

Analytical Mindset: An eagle eye for detail—you spot a $0.01 discrepancy and won't rest until you find where it came from.

Solid Accounting Foundation: A strong grasp of GAAP/IFRS principles, debit/credit logic, and general ledger architecture.

Great Communication: Clear, professional English communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with internal managers and international stakeholders.
